Community Advice

The Ladywood Community Advice service is an easy to access advice service for people living in Ladywood and the surrounding areas.

If you're having problems with your benefits and need help or advice about this, or are struggling with filling in forms, then you're welcome to come and see us.

We can help to explain letters you've received, or help you to contact people at the council or utility providers if you have an issue or need to find out information.

We can also signpost you to other specialist advice services if you have issues we're unable to help with.

If you would like to make an appointment to see our Welfare Benefits Advisor please call on 0121 454 8994 or 0121 455 7524.

"Your help made an immense difference. I didn’t know I could get help with filling in forms or that someone could accompany me to the court hearing. I couldn’t have gone without your support. One of your workers also gave me information on the Olio App to get free food as I’d never heard of it. I was going without food before that - I did qualify for the food bank but that was limited in amount.”
